Charities seeking to engage with businesses may access a free workshop hosted by Ansvar Insurance on June 26, 2025. The session, held both in person and online, is aimed at organisations exploring ways to approach and develop corporate partnerships.
The event will take place at Ansvar’s Community Hub in Brighton, with remote access offered through Microsoft Teams to accommodate groups outside the local area.
Leading the workshop is corporate fundraising consultant Andy King. He is expected to share a framework for identifying, approaching, and maintaining collaborations with businesses, drawing on his experience in the sector. The session includes a live Q&A, accessible to both in-person and virtual attendees.
The event is part of Ansvar’s efforts to provide resources to the third sector. Jane Perkins, marketing manager at Ansvar, said many charities face difficulties when initiating contact with corporate partners.
“This workshop is designed to offer guidance from an expert in the field and create space for open discussion and learning,” said Perkins.
Ansvar operates within the charity, not-for-profit, care and faith sectors. Its Brighton-based Community Hub offers access to meeting facilities, training areas and hot-desking options for registered charitable organisations.
Registration for the event is required.
