The Clear Group has announced the relocation of its three Sheffield businesses — IFM, ProAktive Sheffield, and Peter Hoare Insurance Brokers — into a new central office at MBP2, Meadowhall Business Park, Carbrook Hall Road, Sheffield S9 2EQ.
The move consolidates the group’s presence in Sheffield by bringing together its brands under one roof. It also includes Clear Risk Management, formerly known as ProAktive, which expands the group’s Insurance and Risk Management services in the South Yorkshire region.
The company highlighted the move as an avenue to bolster Clear’s regional operations and provide clients with access to a wider range of insurance products and specialist services, supported by the group’s national resources. The Sheffield office will serve as a second hub for Clear in South Yorkshire, alongside its existing office in Doncaster.
Andy Morley, regional managing director at the Clear Group, said the relocation of IFM, ProAktive Sheffield, and Peter Hoare Insurance Brokers into the new Sheffield office was a significant moment for the business.
“South Yorkshire is a key region for our business, and this move allows us to invest more deeply in the community, strengthen our local relationships, and deliver even greater value for our clients. We’re excited about what the future holds and the difference we can make across the region,” Morley said.
The relocation follows a period of broader expansion for The Clear Group. In October, Clear acquired A-One Insurance Group, a major commercial broker operating seven offices across the South of England with a workforce of over 150 staff. The acquisition added more than £50 million in gross written premium to Clear’s portfolio, further enhancing its national footprint.
The group has also been active in refining its operations. Last month, Clear rebranded its managing general agent (MGA) business to Shape Underwriting. The rebrand consolidated Profile Underwriting and One Commercial Specialty under a unified identity.
